The News Bureau also manages hometown student news, distributing announcements to students via the Merit platform by email, social media, online and through local newspapers. The News Bureau also manages the distribution of news throughout the University’s website.

The News Bureau writes and edits the twice-weekly Southeast Newswire, an electronic newsletter distributed to University faculty and staff.
