Dec. 5, 2003 – Admitted students at Southeast Missouri State University have two options in registering online for First STEP orientation.
In addition to registering online using “My Southeast” available from the Southeast home page, students can now register at http://www.semo.edu/admissions/firststep.htm.
The new First STEP Web pages provide information on registration, dates and the new student orientation program.
First STEP orientation for fall 2004 admissions will be held on Feb. 20, March 6, March 26, May 7, May 22, June 11, June 26, July 23 and Aug. 21.
The programs are scheduled from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the University Center.
Southeast Testing and Enrollment Program (STEP) or First STEP orientation is for all students who have completed fewer than 24 college credit hours prior to enrollment at Southeast.
First STEP activities include the writing placement exam, math placement challenge, family sessions, small group discussions, lunch, information fair, student advising and enrollment. First STEP also helps familiarize students and their families with Southeast.
