‘Alumni Exhibition’ Highlights Work of Department of Art Grads

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., Sept. 21, 2015 – Former students who graduated from the Department of Art at Southeast Missouri State University will exhibit their current work in a broad range of media in an “Alumni Exhibition” Oct. 5-22 in the River Campus Art Gallery.

An opening reception is scheduled for 5-7 p.m. Oct. 2.

“The BFA program at Southeast Missouri State University was initiated in the year 2000,” said Justin Miller, Gallery coordinator. “This invitational will highlight those students who have graduated in the past 15 years from Southeast with their BFA degree.  We are expecting a wide range of media including but not limited to painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, ceramics, digital, and more.  It promises to be diverse collection of artwork.”

The artists participating in this exhibition are alumni of the Bachelor of Fine Arts program in the Department of Art at Southeast Missouri State University.

The River Campus Art Gallery is located on the first floor of the historic Seminary Building in Room 106.
