American Red Cross to Hold Blood Drive at Southeast Sept. 12-16

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo.,

Aug. 25, 2005 – The American Red Cross will hold a blood drive in the University Center at Southeast Missouri State University Sept. 12-16.

Those who wish to donate blood may do so from 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, and from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday.

The blood drive is sponsored by Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity each day, with Southeast’s Department of Criminal Justice and Sociology participating on Tuesday as a sponsor.

In Missouri, healthy individuals who are at least 17 years old and weigh 110 pounds or more are eligible to donate blood.  To schedule a blood donation appointment, call 1-800-GIVE-LIFE or visit www.americanredcrossblood.org.
