BBL Buildings and Components Scholarship Endowed Through Foundation

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo.,

Dec. 8, 2008 – The BBL Buildings & Components Endowed Scholarship has been established through the Southeast Missouri University Foundation.

BBL Buildings & Components of Perryville, Mo., made a $10,000 gift to the Foundation to endow the scholarship.

The scholarship will be awarded to students attending the Perryville Higher Education Center, with first preference being given to BBL employees or children of BBL employees. The Perryville Higher Education Center Scholarship Committee will select the recipient.

BBL was established in 1975, specializing in the sale and erection of post-frame farm and commercial buildings. Facilities were expanded in 1979 to meet the increasing demand for a broad range of agricultural, commercial and residential buildings. Today, BBL’s manufacturing operations include wood roof trusses for residential and commercial buildings plus exterior packages, including wall panels for the residential home market. BBL is a 100 percent employee-owned company.
