Blood Drive to be Held at Southeast Nov. 12-15

Alpha Phi Omega and Gamma Sigma Sigma are sponsoring an American Red Cross blood drive Nov. 12-15 at Southeast Missouri State University.

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo.,

Oct. 29, 2007 – Alpha Phi Omega and Gamma Sigma Sigma are sponsoring an American Red Cross blood drive Nov. 12-15 at Southeast Missouri State University.

The drive is scheduled each day for noon to 5 p.m. in Dempster Hall. Each donor will receive a complimentary T-shirt.

In the Missouri-Illinois Region, healthy individuals 17 years of age and older (16 with a signed American Red Cross parental or legal guardian consent form) and weighing 110 pounds or more are eligible to donate blood.  Federal regulations require whole blood donors to wait 56 days between donations.  Platelet donors can donate as many as 24 times a year.
