Briggs, Ferrell to Discuss Experiences in Vietnam, Iraq on ‘Going Public’

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., Jan. 2, 2007 — Southeast Missouri State University’s David Briggs and Larry Ferrell, assistant federal prosecutor for the Eastern District of Missouri, will be featured at 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 7 on Southeast Public Radio’s “Going Public” program.

Briggs will discuss his experiences in the Vietnam War and how it felt to return when his combat duty had ended.

Ferrell will speak about his time in Iraq and the role he played in the trial of Saddam Hussein.

This week’s “Going Public” is hosted by Tom Harte and Chris Schnell. The program airs every Sunday afternoon at 3 p.m. on 90.9 FM, KRCU and 88.9 FM, KSEF.
