Rehearsals begin on Monday, Sept. 8, in the new choral rehearsal room at the River Campus Center (RCC 120). Rehearsals are held every Monday during the fall semester. Dress rehearsals will be held at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 30, and 7:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 1, in the Donald C. Bedell Performance Hall at the River Campus. The Choral Union will perform in collaboration with the Southeast Missouri Symphony Orchestra and the University Choir at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 2, in the Bedell Performance Hall.
The repertoire for the fall semester is Schubert’s “Mass in G” (G. Schirmer, Parker/Shaw ed.) and Perry’s “Blest Pair of Sirens” (CPDL ed.). Both new ($8) and used ($6) copies of the Schubert “Mass in G” will be available at the first rehearsal. Copies of Perry’s “Blest Pair of Sirens” will be provided free.
