Choral Union to Begin Rehearsals Sept. 4

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo.,

Aug. 9, 2007 – The Southeast Missouri State University Choral Union, a non-auditioned choral ensemble open to community and collegiate singers, will begin its fall rehearsals Sept. 4 at River Campus in preparation for December performances of the Christmas portion of Handel’s “Messiah.”

Rehearsals will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday evenings in the instrumental rehearsal room, Room 155. Students will be on hand to direct participants to the new location on Sept. 4. Shuttle service will be available for those commuting from the main Southeast campus. There will also be plenty of parking at River Campus.

The Choral Union will perform “Messiah” on Dec. 7-8 in the Bedell Performance Hall.
