CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., April 10, 2008 — Southeast Missouri State University’s Department of Music will present the Claire Kuebler Flute Recital at 7:30 p.m. April 11 in the Robert F. and Gertrude L. Shuck Music Recital Hall in the Seminary Building on Southeast Missouri State University’s River Campus.
Kuebler will present an appealing and diverse program, featuring music chiefly by American composers. Kuebler holds degrees from Catholic University and the University of North Texas, and has appeared in solo, chamber and orchestral settings throughout the United States. She has taught at Southern Illinois University-Carbondale and appeared with the Miami Philharmonic and Illinois Symphony Orchestras. Kuebler will be joined by Southeast faculty Matt Yount on piano and Paul Thompson on flute.
