Climb the Heroes Challenge in Observance of 9/11

Nearly 3,000 people lost their lives during the terrorist attacks on 9/11/2001. As a way to pay our respects and honor the fallen, the Office of Military & Veterans Services, in coordination with the Fruitland Fire Department, is having a Heroes Challenge on Monday, 9/11/2017, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m., in the University Center, third floor pit area. Join in by suiting up in full fireman’s gear and attempting to climb 1,920 steps, the equivalent to the number of stairs firemen climbed during rescue attempts. This event is open to all students, staff and faculty, so please stop by and see if you’re up for the challenge. Do you have the will to climb?
