County Sales Tax Initiative to be Topic of Sunday’s ‘Going Public’

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., July 27, 2006 — Sunday at 3 p.m. on KRCU Radio’s  “Going Public” program, Cape Girardeau County Commissioner Jay Purcell and Sheriff John Jordan will discuss the county’s sales tax initiative that will appear on the Aug. 8 ballot.

In addition, listeners will hear clips from and an interview with local musician Bruce Zimmerman, who released his first CD this past week.

This week’s “Going Public” is hosted by Tom Harte, Chris Schnell and Jacob McCleland. The program airs every Sunday afternoon at 3 p.m. on 90.9 FM, KRCU and 88.9 FM, KSEF.
