The Rosemary Berkel and Harry L. Crisp II Museum at Southeast Missouri State University’s River Campus is hosting a creative watercolor workshop July 17, 24 and 31 from 9 a.m.-noon.
During this workshop, taught by local artist Brenda Seyer, participates will explore watercolor’s abilities as they create practice works with their own creativity and from reference images. Seyer will demonstrate how watercolor can create a variety of images, from solid to translucent, single or multiple colors, or light and dark, and how to purposefully manipulate pigments with other materials.
A preregistration of $25 is due July 10 for adults only. Supplies are required.
