CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo.,

Nov. 22, 2006 – A Department of Art Faculty Exhibition opens Dec. 1 in the Southeast Missouri Regional Museum at Southeast Missouri State University.

This popular annual exhibition will include a lively mix of media and styles in two and three dimensions. Participants will be Dr. Samuel Bishop, photography; Louise Bodenheimer, graphics; Pamela Caskanett, ceramics; Ronald Clayton, painting; Benjamin Heu, ceramics; Dr. Mary Morrell, watercolor; Patricia Reagan, fibers; Sarah Riley, prints; Paul Schock, installation; Dr. Edwin Smith, sculpture; Lane Fabrick, painting; and Katherine Ellinger Smith, drawing/painting.

An opening reception for the artists will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Dec. 1 in the museum. The reception is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be provided.

The museum is located on the campus of Southeast Missouri State University in Memorial Hall. Museum hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday-Friday and noon to 4 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. The museum will be closed Jan. 15. The exhibit runs through Jan. 21.
