Facilities Master Plan Survey Team to Begin Assessing Campus Buildings Aug. 4

The University has engaged the Lawrence Group from St. Louis, Missouri, to complete a comprehensive update of the University’s Facilities Master Plan.  This planning process will include an assessment of academic, administrative, auxiliary and athletic/recreation facilities and related infrastructure at the main campus and regional campuses.  It is estimated the planning process will take 12-16 months to complete.

Beginning Aug. 4, representatives from the Lawrence Group will be on campus to walk through University buildings for a visual inspection of conditions and to verify building plans.  All members of the survey team will be wearing an ID that is labeled “Campus Master Plan Consultant”.

There will be an opportunity for University personnel to provide input on current and future facilities needs for their programs later in the planning process.  The consultants anticipate those meetings to begin in mid to late October 2016.
