Faculty Performing Composers’ Concert Feb. 26

Southeast Missouri State University professors will present an interdisciplinary music and dance “Composers’ Concert,” to be held at 8 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 26 in Brandt Room 205.

This one-of-a-kind concert will feature original compositions by Robert Fruewald and Sterling Cossaboom, both active members of the Southeast Department of Music. Dr. Marc Strauss, associate professor in the Department of Theatre and Dance, will perform interpretive dance to augment these original scores, played by Southeast students and professors on a variety of instruments.

Tickets for the event are on sale now at the Performing Arts Box Office. Please call (573) 651-2265 or stop by the Forrest H. Rose Theatre lobby for advanced tickets. Ticket prices are $7 for the public, $6 for faculty/staff and senior citizens, and $5 for students. Reduced rates are for advanced sales only. All tickets will be $7 at the door.

The Southeast dance studio is located at 210 Parker Hall, on Henderson Drive.
