Faculty/Staff Zoom Training Sessions Announced

Information Technology (IT) is hosting training sessions for faculty and staff on Zoom, a cloud-based tool that provides video conferencing, online meetings, high quality screen sharing and group messaging into one easy-to-use application. IT will be also be making monthly contributions of technology training or informational sessions that may be of interest to faculty and staff using Zoom.

The Zoom for Education session for Southeast faculty will be held from 2-3 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 27, and Wednesday, Feb. 28, in the Kent Library Training Lab Room 110. More than 10,000 educational institutions, including 90 percent of the top U.S. universities use Zoom for courses, research, office hours and more. During this face-to-face session, faculty will learn how this tool could be of use, as well as learn how to lead a Zoom session. To register, click here.

The Zoom for Meetings session for Southeast staff will be held from 2-3 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 22, in the Kent Library Training Lab, Room 110. During this face-to-face session, staff will learn how Zoom brings video conferencing, online meetings, high-quality screen sharing and group messaging into one easy-to-use application, as well as learn how to lead a Zoom session.
