Farm Show Planned May 5 at David M. Barton Agriculture Research Center

2013_CSTA_Agriculture_14-XLCAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., April 23, 2012 – The Collegiate Farm Bureau at Southeast Missouri State University will hold a Farm Show from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 5 at the David M. Barton Agriculture Research Center.

Local agriculture vendors have been invited to participate and to network with Southeast agriculture students and community members. Vendors expected to be on hand include Baker Implement, Wm. Nobbe John Deere, Davis Farm Supply, Bayer Corporation, Pioneer, Armor Seed, Farm First Crop Insurance, Southeast Co-op, Ozarc Gas, Missouri Crop Insurance, Missouri Farm Bureau/Farm Bureau Insurance, Black Gold Potatoes, Agri-Gold, Windy-Vue Farm, Good Steward Farm Shares, Performance Blenders, El Tomaria Farm and Party Goats.

The David M. Barton Agriculture Research Center is located at 6885 State Hwy. 25, one and one-half miles south of Gordonville, Mo., on the east side of Highway 25.

Throughout the day, Southeast Department of Agriculture faculty will give presentations, and the Pre-Veterinary Club will host a “Kiss a Cow” contest at noon. The event is free and open to the public, and concessions will be available to purchase throughout the day.
