‘Going Public’ to Feature Local Residents Reading Holiday Stories, 2006 Retrospective

“Going Public” airs every Sunday afternoon at 3 p.m. on 90.9 FM, KRCU, and 88.9 FM, KSEF.

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo.,

Dec. 20, 2006 – On Dec. 24, Southeast Public Radio’s “Going Public” will feature holiday stories read by area residents.

Dr. Martin Jones will read How the Grinch Stole Christmas. Ruby Long will read And All Through the House. Maria Abernathy will read The Twelve Thank You Notes of Christmas. 

On Sunday, Dec. 31, Southeast Public Radio’s “Going Public” will air a retrospective look on 2006. This weekend’s program will present feature stories about Cape Girardeau’s new mass transit system, the reopening of the Thebes Courthouse, the mule jumping competition in Altenburg and much more.

These “Going Public” programs are hosted by Tom Harte. The program airs every Sunday afternoon at 3 p.m. on 90.9 FM, KRCU, and 88.9 FM, KSEF.
