CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo.,

Aug. 15, 2006 – Increases in oil prices and how they affect consumers will be the topic at 3 p.m. Sunday on KRCU Radio’s “Going Public” program.

Dr. Bruce Domazlicky, professor of economics at Southeast Missouri State University, will discuss the economics of petroleum and what causes the high prices consumers are now seeing.

In addition, author, filmmaker and alternative fuel activist Josh Tickell will explain the many reasons biodiesel is a non-petroleum fuel source that America is prepared to embrace – not in 10 or 20 years, but now.

This week’s “Going Public” is hosted by Tom Harte, Chris Schnell and Jacob McCleland. The program airs every Sunday afternoon at 3 p.m. on 90.9 FM, KRCU, and 88.9 FM, KSEF.
