KRCU Focus on Southeast: Vargas Discusses Pet Friendly Community, NPHC Plaza, MAC Partnership, Men’s Basketball

KRCU General Manager Dan Woods recently sat down with Southeast President Carlos Vargas in the latest edition of “Focus on Southeast.” In this edition, Vargas talks about the new pet friendly community coming to Southeast in Fall 2018 and the new dean of the Harrison College of Business, Dr. Alberto Dávila of Edinburg, Texas. In addition, Vargas shares details of an agreement between Southeast and Mineral Area College (MAC) to help MAC students ease their transition to Southeast, the construction of a new NPHC Plaza to provide a greenspace for student recreation and events and recognize Southeast’s NPHC chapters, the Department of Computer Science celebrating its 50th anniversary, and the Redhawks men’s basketball team being eligible for post-season play in the 2018-2019 season.
