‘Last Chance to Dance-Fall’ to Feature Student Choreographed Pieces

Photo of Last Chance to DanceCAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., Dec. 1, 2014 – Dance pieces will be featured in the Theatre and Dance Second Stage Series event, “Last Chance to Dance-Fall,” scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Dec. 14-15 in the Donald C. Bedell Performance Hall at Southeast Missouri State University’s River Campus.

“Last Chance to Dance-Fall” allows a student the opportunity to present work without an audition. For some students, this is their first time presenting work in front of a live audience.

Most students performing will be theatre and dance majors, although students from other majors may participate. The performance is designed specifically for theatre and dance students but is open to any Southeast student. The show will include a large variety of styles including ballet, modern, tap and jazz.

The show is always exciting, energetic and eclectic and will include a large variety of styles including hip-hop, contemporary, ballet, tap and jazz. “Last Chance to Dance” will feature solos, duets, trios and large groups and will keep the audience engaged and invigorated from start to finish.

The event is free and open to the public. The performance may contain adult content.
