Missouri Lt. Gov. Peter Kinder will speak to members of Southeast Missouri State University’s Alumni Association Board of Directors, the Student Alumni Association, Student Government and the student Judicial Board.
He will discuss his support for the Lewis and Clark Initiative and the impact and benefits the Initiative would provide to Southeast Missouri State University and the State of Missouri.
(The Lewis and Clark Initiative is the proposal which would transfer funds from the Missouri Higher Education Loan Authority – MOHELA – to the Missouri Development Finance Board to make possible a number of higher education capital improvements, including the River Campus in Cape Girardeau and a Southeast Missouri State University business incubator project. Total funding for Southeast Missouri State University projects would be approximately $22 million.)
