Faculty are encouraged to share information with their students about the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s 106th Recruit Class that will begin training on July 2. The Patrol is extending an invitation to participate in the selection process for this exciting career opportunity. Thirty to 40 positions are open with a start date of July 2. New Highway Patrol recruits receive a salary of $1,715 twice per month, health, retirement and life benefits, as well as a uniform allowance. After training, recruits are commissioned as Missouri State Highway Patrol Troopers. A written test will be offered at 8 a.m. on Friday, April 27, in Crisp Hall Room 209 on the Southeast Missouri State University campus.
