Museum to Host Pop Art Family Day

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., Oct. 22, 2009 – The Rosemary Berkel and Harry L. Crisp II Museum at Southeast Missouri State University’s River Campus will host Pop Art Family Day from 1-4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 24.

Visitors are invited to drop by the Crisp Museum and explore the fine art exhibition “Guild Hall: An Adventure in the Arts,” and learn about Pop Art with hands-on art activities and artist vignettes.

“Guild Hall: An Adventure in the Arts: Selections from the Permanent Collection of the Guild Hall Museum” was organized by the Guild Hall Museum, East Hampton, N.Y., in association with Landau Traveling Exhibitions, Los Angeles, Calif.

The Rosemary Berkel and Harry L. Crisp II Museum is the sponsor of this exhibition. Financial assistance for this project has been provided by the Missouri Arts Council, a state agency.
