CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., Oct. 10, 2007 — The River Campus Art Gallery in the Earl and Margie Holland School of Visual and Performing Arts at Southeast Missouri State University is pleased to present the exhibit, One + One 2-Faculty and Alumni.
This exhibition features studio work by Department of Art faculty at Southeast Missouri State University. In addition, each faculty member had the opportunity to invite one of his or her former students to participate. The resulting exhibition will showcase a diverse array of media and thematic content.
The public reception for this exhibition will be coordinated with the gala opening for the River Campus. The gallery will be open on Friday, Oct. 19, from 3 to 8 p.m., and Sunday, Oct. 21, from 4 to 6 p.m. The exhibit will remain on display through Nov. 20.
As part of the Earl and Margie Holland School of Visual and Performing Arts at Southeast Missouri State University, The River Campus Art Gallery presents exhibitions by Department of Art faculty and students, and regionally and nationally recognized artists. The River Campus Art Gallery is located in Room 106 of the historic Seminary Building, a newly renovated space housing offices, studios, and classrooms for the departments of art, music, and theater and dance.
