Regents Approve Title Change for Senior Associate Provost

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., Dec. 20, 2011 – The Southeast Missouri State University Board of Regents approved a change of title for Dr. William Eddleman from Senior Associate Provost and Dean of the School of Graduate Studies to Vice Provost and Dean of the School of Graduate Studies effective Jan. 1, 2012.

Eddleman has been employed at Southeast for more than 16 years and has served in several capacities, including serving as a member of the biology faculty, chair of the Department of Biology, and since June 2011, as senior associate provost and dean of the School of Graduate Studies.

According to Ron Rosati, provost of Southeast Missouri State University, in addition to current duties as senior associate provost and dean, as vice provost, Eddleman will be addressing additional challenges including providing input during the faculty grievance process, the tenure and promotion process, and serving as an increasingly important advisor to the executive staff on academic affairs issues.
