CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., Oct. 3, 2014 – The Southeast Missouri State University Board of Regents today reappointed Mike Buck to the Show Me Center Board of Managers.
Buck’s new term will expire Dec. 1, 2017. His current term expires Dec. 1 of this year.
Buck, director of recreational services at Southeast, has served two years completing the term of Troy Vaughn on the Board who left the University in August 2012.
Along with Buck, Kathy Mangels, vice president for finance and administration and treasurer at Southeast, and Dr. Beth Easter, associate professor of health, human performance and recreation, are the University’s representatives on the Board.
Current city representatives are City Manager Scott Meyer, Luke Landgraf and Cordell Dombrowski.
The Multi-use Center Agreement between the City of Cape Girardeau and Southeast Missouri State University calls for both the City Council and the Board of Regents to each appoint three members to the Show Me Center Board of Managers. Members serve three-year staggered terms so only two members are appointed each year.
