Regents Reappoint Dambach to Missouri Research Corp. Board of Directors

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo.,

April 3, 2009 – The Southeast Missouri State University Board of Regents today reappointed Michael Dambach to a three-year term on the Missouri Research Corporation Board of Directors.

The term began Dec. 1, 2008, and ends Dec. 1, 2011.

Dambach was appointed to a two-year term at the formation of the Missouri Research Corporation in December 2003 and to a three-year term in December 2005. Under the amended bylaws, he is eligible to serve one more successive three-year term.

Dambach is a graduate of Southeast, and his son attends the University. He also served on the Southeast Missouri University Foundation, which provided a wealth of experience as it relates to his current position as chairman of the Missouri Research Board of Directors, said Kenneth W. Dobbins, president of Southeast Missouri State University. His background in finance and accounting are also great resources from which the Board may draw, he added.

“He has directed the wonderful success of the Corporation and is a true friend of Southeast,” Dobbins said.
