Regents to Consider Fees for FY2011

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo.,

May 14, 2010 – The Southeast Missouri State University Board of Regents will consider setting incidental fees for fiscal 2011 when it meets at 4:30 p.m. May 15 in the Student Recreation Center-North Dance Studio.

The Board also will consider special course fees and a special fee on Webinar courses.

The Board will discuss the budget review process and will review letters requesting consideration of additional degree offerings received from the chairs of the advisory boards at the regional campuses at Sikeston, Kennett and Malden.

The Regents will consider conferring degrees for spring 2010 and summer 2010 graduation, a resolution of honor for outgoing Student Regent Leni Fluegge and revisions to the Business Policies & Procedures Manual.

The Board will hear a progress report on contracts and Facilities Management projects and reports from the Faculty Senate and Student Government chairs. The Regents also will hear the President’s Report and will receive information on the Center for Strategic & International Studies Regional Conference and Southeast President Kenneth W. Dobbins being honored with the Boy Scouts of America Silver Beaver Award. The Regents will receive the spring 2010 edition of Southeast — The Magazine of Southeast Missouri State University.

The Board will consider a motion to go into a closed session for appropriate considerations. When the open session reconvenes, the final item of business will be consideration of a motion to adjourn.
