Regents to Consider Tuition, Fees for Fall 2016

Regents-MeyerCAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., May 5, 2016 – The Southeast Missouri State University Board of Regents will consider a tuition and fee schedule effective fall 2016 when it meets at 8:30 a.m. May 6 in the Board of Regents Rooms in Academic Hall.

The Board also will consider approving special course fees, conferring degrees for the 2016 spring and summer sessions, approving resolutions of honor for retirees, appointing Missouri Innovation Corporation Board members, and changing program and option titles on several academic programs.

The Board will hear reports from the outgoing and incoming Faculty Senate chairs and Student Government presidents, on contract and Facilities Management projects and on the renaming of the Department of Theatre and Dance to The Conservatory of Theatre and Dance.

The Regents will consider a motion to go into a closed session for appropriate considerations related to legal actions; hiring, firing, disciplining or promotion of personnel; personnel records and performance ratings; and records protected from disclosure by law.

When the open session reconvenes, an announcement will be made of actions taken in the closed session. The final item of business on the agenda will be consideration of a motion to adjourn.
