Regents to Set FY19 Operating Budget

The Southeast Missouri State University Board of Regents will consider the University’s general operating and auxiliary budgets for fiscal year 2019 when it meets at 1 p.m. June 12 in the Board of Regents Room in Academic Hall.

The first item of business will be to review and approve a consent agenda, including a new Spanish for the health professions minor and appointments to the River Campus Board of Managers.

The Board will hear the University President’s Report from Southeast President Carlos Vargas and a report on contracts and Facilities Management projects from Kathy Mangels, vice president for finance and administration.

The Regents will consider a motion to go into closed session for appropriate considerations related to litigation; hiring, firing, disciplining or promotion of personnel; and personnel records and performance ratings.

When the open session reconvenes, an announcement of actions taken in closed and closed executive sessions will be made. The final item of business will be consideration of a motion to adjourn.
