Robert Conger to Perform Trombone Recital with Southeast Faculty Brass Quintet

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., Feb. 20, 2006 — Robert Conger will present a faculty trombone recital March 9 in Old St. Vincent’s Church in downtown Cape Girardeau. 

Robert Conger is a member of the Southeast Department of Music faculty who teaches all low brass applied music lessons, directs the jazz program and the Redhawk Concert Band, teaches courses in conducting and music education, and is a member of the Southeast Faculty Brass Quintet.

The varied program will consist of music for solo trombone by Frank Martin, Arthur Frackenpohl and Axel Jorgenson.  Accompanying Conger will be Matt Yount, the staff accompanist for Southeast Missouri State University.
