Southeast Celebrating LOVE OER Month in February

Southeast Missouri State University is celebrating LOVE Open Educational Resources (OER) Month in February with several activities and sessions. Open Education Resources are teaching, learning and research materials in any medium—digital or otherwise—that reside in the public domain or have been released under an open license that permits no-cost access, use, adaption and redistribution by others with no or limited restrictions (Hewlett Foundation, 2018). Open educational resources are a key strategy in the “opening up” of higher education. Not only do Open Educational Resources lower costs for students, but they also can greatly enhance the teaching and learning experience (SPARC, 2018).  Please join one of these LOVE OER activities in February.
