Southeast Hosting Forum Thursday on Amendment 2-Stem Cell Initiative

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo.,

Oct. 3, 2006 – Southeast Missouri State University will host a forum on Amendment 2: The Stem Cell Initiative at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 5, in Glenn Auditorium of Dempster Hall.

Lindsay Holwick representing the Missouri Coalition for Lifesaving Cures and Dr. Michael Wulfers representing Missourians Against Human Cloning will present their respective arguments on the topic of Missouri’s Amendment 2. Each will receive 20 minutes to present their position, followed by a question-and-answer session.

The event is co-sponsored by Student Government, College Democrats, College Republicans and the Office of the President.
