CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., Oct. 26, 2011 – A Women Inspiring eNtrepreneurship (WIN!) The WIN! Conference will start with a WIN! Conference events will take place in Glenn Auditorium of Robert A. Dempster Hall, home of the Donald L. Harrison College of Business at Southeast Missouri State University.

Now in its third year, the WIN! Workshop will feature several personal enrichment and networking activities, presentations from other successful women entrepreneurs, business/vendor displays and many resources for new and experienced entrepreneurs.  Women who have new venture ideas and would like to start a business, women who currently own a business, or any women who want to be inspired to lead more entrepreneurial lives are invited to experience the WIN! Conference.

Presenting the keynote address at this year’s WIN! conference will be Jaclyn Rowe, an author, entrepreneur and inspirational speaker who will open the conference with “Women Entrepreneurs – the World is at Your Fingertips.”   Other topics on the 2011 WIN! program include the impact of microfinance for women entrepreneurs, the importance of brand integration, practical tips for search engine optimization, new Google tools for marketing, contract development, and personal insights from other women on what it takes to be a success as a woman-owned business.  One of the most popular aspects of the WIN! conference are the creative networking activities, which culminate in door prizes donated by local businesses.  Women business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs will travel from across the region for this workshop to network, share ideas and learn from inspiring women who are making their mark as entrepreneurs.

Both WIN! events are open to the public.  The cost is $10 per person to attend, which includes lunch. To register for the WIN! Workshop or for more information, visit www.semo.edu/win or contact Glenna Ervin at gervin@semo.edu or (573) 651-2929.
