Southeast Missouri Symphony Orchestra to Host a Preview Party to Launch 2004-2005 Concert Season

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., July 19, 2004 — The Southeast Missouri Symphony Orchestra will present a Summer Symphony Preview from 2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, July 25, in Rose Theatre at Southeast Missouri State University.

A short recital, “Music for a Summer Afternoon,” will be performed at 3 p.m. on the stage of the Rose Theatre. The recital will feature symphony musicians Brandon Christensen on violin, Sara Edgerton on cello, Kirk Miller on cello, and Christina Van Nostrand on flute, with special guest artist Liesl Schoenberger on violin.

Musicians will be on hand to answer any questions regarding the upcoming season, and light refreshments will be served throughout the afternoon in the lobby of the theatre. The Performing Arts Box Office will also be open for any patrons wishing to purchase season tickets to the symphony from 2 to 5 p.m.
