Regents to Consider Authorizing University Treasurer to Execute Transportation Grant Applications

Board of RegentsCAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., Oct. 2, 2014 – The Southeast Missouri State University Board of Regents will consider a motion authorizing University Treasurer Kathy Mangels to execute grant applications and agreements with the Missouri Department of Transportation and the Federal Transit Administration for public transportation projects when it meets Oct. 3.

The meeting is scheduled for 8 a.m. in the Board of Regents Room in Academic Hall.

The Regents’ first item of business will be consideration of a motion to go into a closed session for appropriate considerations regarding legal matters, personnel actions and records, and records legally protected from disclosure.

The open session is expected to convene at about 10 a.m. During the open session, the Regents will announce actions taken in closed session. They also will hear several reports, including one on Quality Matters certification for online courses.
