Southeast Serves ‘Painting for a Cause’ Oct. 1

VP-ArtSoutheast Serves announces the first of its kind, “Painting for a Cause,” Oct. 1. Create your own work of art while also supporting the SafeHouse for Women. Students will have the option of keeping their painting or donating it to the SafeHouse to decorate their new shelter.

Session 1 will begin at 10 a.m. Session 2 will begin at 1 p.m. This would be a great event in which to participate as a floor, staff, building, organization or chapter. Only 20 spots are available in each session; sign up before they are all gone. All supplies are provided.

Payment of $15 must be turned in the day of the event. Cash or checks made directly to the SafeHouse are accepted. All of this event’s proceeds will be donated to the SafeHouse to help fund the new shelter being built for the women and children of Cape Girardeau who have experienced domestic violence.
