Southeast Serves Takes First Service Trip to Help Rescued Animals

Clong meadowAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., Oct. 23, 2015 – Southeast Serves at Southeast Missouri State University takes their first trip by bus to volunteer at Longmeadow Rescue Ranch in Union, Missouri, next month where they rescue neglected and abused animals.

The trip will take place on Saturday, Nov. 7. A $25 deposit is required that covers costs for travel, lunch and a hayride at the end of the project. The group will leave in the morning and return the same day.

The service trip is limited to 20 students, and registration should be done by Oct. 24. Registration is available at semo.edu/serve. Then click on “Service Trip.”
