Southeast’s Racquetball Club Hosting Fourth Annual Tournament this Saturday

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo.,

March 6, 2007 — The Southeast Missouri State University Racquetball Club is hosting its fourth annual “SEMO Classic” Saturday, March 10, at the Student Recreation Center – North.

The tournament is schedule for 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the racquetball courts on the second level of the East Gymnasium.

Three Southeast students are participating in the event. Club President Drew Finke, Steve Grana and Chris Debolt, all of St. Louis, will represent the club and the University during the tournament. There are approximately 25 registered and confirmed participants for the event.

The singles component of the tournament will start in the morning, and the doubles competition will commence after lunch. Racquetball players from across Missouri, Illinois and other areas will be on hand to participate in the event.

“We think we will do very well in this event,” Finke said. The three Southeast students also will represent the University in the U.S. Nationals in Tempe, Ariz., March 28.

All Southeast students, faculty, and staff are invited to attend and watch a high level of racquetball this weekend in the Student Recreation Center – North.
