St. Francois County News, Kidscount Survey, Legacy of Former Southeast President Mark Scully to Be Featured on ‘Going Public’

“Going Public” airs every Sunday afternoon at 3 p.m. on 90.9 FM, KRCU, and 88.9 FM, KSEF.

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., March 23, 2007 — Renee Jean of the Daily Journal newspaper will discuss newsworthy events from St. Francois County, including two ladies who are walking 350 miles to raise money for cancer awareness, at 3 p.m. on Sunday, March 25, on Southeast Public Radio’s “Going Public” program.

Cathi Marterella, program director for Citizens for Missouri’s Children, will discuss the 2006 KidsCount survey as well as an upcoming town hall forum in New Madrid, Mo.

On “River Tales,” Dr. Frank Nickell, director of the Center for Regional History, will explain the legacy of former Southeast Missouri State University President Mark Scully.
