CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., Feb. 4, 2005 — The extremely popular “Sundays at Three” Chamber Music Concert Series will present its third concert of the year, “Zeigler, Lim and Christensen,” at 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 20, in Old St. Vincent’s Church.
This very special concert will feature Jeff Zeigler, cellist for the Fishcoff award-winning Corigliano String Quartet, in a concert of Romantic chamber music. In addition to touring with the quartet, Zeigler, who currently lives and works in New York City, has been on the faculty of North Texas University and Dickensen College in Pennsylvania.
Zeigler will be performing a duo by Zoltan Kodaly with Brandon Christensen on violin, and Brahms’ heroic C Major piano trio with Christensen, and the firebrand pianist, Jennifer Lim.
Don’t miss this opportunity to hear one of the nation’s hottest young cellists perform a beautiful program of delightful chamber music in the lovely setting of the historic Old St. Vincent’s Church.
