CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., Jan. 6, 2015 – The Department of Theatre and Dance at Southeast Missouri State University will hold an open house at 6 p.m. Jan. 20 in the River Campus Center Directing Studio at Southeast’s River Campus.
The open house welcomes back theatre and dance students and allows new students to meet faculty and staff and receive an assigned student mentor for the spring semester.
New students also will have networking opportunities, and refreshments will be offered. Students will learn about the spring semester’s upcoming events and student production auditions.
“These open houses are wonderful opportunities for incoming majors and minors, as well as non-majors who are interested in theatre or dance, to learn about the program and how to get involved academically and in production,” said Dr. Kenneth L. Stilson, chair of the Department of Theatre and Dance.
The event is open to all students.
The open house is sponsored by the Department of Theatre and Dance in conjunction with the Office of Student Transitions.
