“Daisies” by Ellen Hahs
CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., Sept. 24, 2014 – The Rosemary Berkel and Harry L. Crisp II Museum at the Southeast Missouri State University River Campus will host Women’s Day of Art on Tuesday, Sept. 30 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Those who attend the classes will create, make and take art. Teaching artists will lead easy-to-learn classes around the theme “Let Yourself Go.” Classes include landscapes with paper, sky reflections with watercolor, painted daisies, spray paint on paper, glass and terra cotta, card making, an art gallery tour and more.
A lunch break is scheduled for noon, and attendees are asked to bring their own lunches.
