Writer and Voice Actor to Speak at Southeast April 16

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo.,

March 26, 2009 – Mike Henry, writer and actor, will present “Behind the Scenes of Family Guy” April 16 at Southeast Missouri State University.

Henry is scheduled to speak at 6:30 p.m. in Academic Auditorium.  The event is free and open to the public.

Henry is a writer, producer, comedian and voice actor from Richmond, Va.  A graduate of Washington and Lee University, Henry is best known for his work as a writer and voice actor for the hit show “Family Guy.”  He provides the personas for characters “Cleveland,” “Herbert,” “the Performance Artist” and many more.  Beginning in the fall of 2009, Henry will star in a “Family Guy” spin-off, “The Cleveland Show.”

Henry will talk about the development of the characters, and take the audience behind the scenes of these two shows with never-before-seen clips and hilarious outtakes.
