CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., Jan. 8, 2007 — The Department of Recreation Services at Southeast Missouri State University invites youth to participate in its Youth Volleyball Skills Clinic starting in early February.
The clinic is open to youth ages 4 to 14. The Youth Volleyball Clinic will teach and instruct the basics of the game of volleyball — proper passing, ball play, rules, net play, teamwork, sportsmanship and more.
The Volleyball Skills Clinic will be held on six Saturday mornings in the early spring from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at Parker Gymnasium, located in the middle of campus. Qualified student instructors will be on hand to assist kids in developing playing skills.
Meeting dates will be Feb 3, 10, 17 and 24 and March 3 and 10. The cost is $40 for a Southeast affiliated child and $50 for a non-Southeast affiliated child. For more information, please contact the Department of Recreation Services at (573) 285-2521 or visit www4.semo.edu/recsports.
