CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo.,
April 25, 2006 – The Southeast Missouri Regional Museum and the Department of Art at Southeast Missouri State University are hosting the 2006 Seniors in Art Exhibition beginning April 28.
An opening reception will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. April 28. Refreshments will be served. The reception is free, and the public is invited to attend.
The exhibition showcases the work of 18 graduating seniors, who selected works representative of the final stage of their collegiate careers. Exhibited work will include sculpture, painting, printmaking, fibers, computer animation and illustration, ceramics, and graphic design. Many of the works are available for purchase.
The Southeast Missouri Regional Museum is open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, and noon to 4 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. The exhibit runs through May 14.
