Submit a Short Video to Encourage Southeast Students

University Marketing is asking all faculty and staff to help support our students during this unprecedented time by submitting a short video of themselves encouraging students. Videos can be around 10 seconds in length and recorded on any device you have available to you including phone, laptop or tablet. Some tips for creating your video are to record in a quiet place with good lighting. Additionally, facing a window during daytime hours will allow natural light to enhance your video. As the University has now transitioned to a mostly remote work environment, there can be a wide range of adjustments experienced by faculty and staff. Human Resources reminds faculty and staff that the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) benefit offers many services free of charge, including emotional wellbeing support via phone or online, legal and financial consultation and referrals, and family and caregiving resources. Fault Line Film Festival Continues This Week with New Virtual Format

Southeast Missouri State University’s Fault Line Film Festival continues its online format through April 18. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, organizers have shifted the normal week-long festival and red carpet event into a virtual display of creativity. This year's Festival celebrates 10 years of showcasing the creative talents of filmmaking students from the University, area high schools and other institutions across the Midwest. COVID-19 Ends Quest Toward 2019-2020 OVC Commissioner's Cup

Two years ago, Southeast Missouri developed a comprehensive strategic plan designed to guide the athletics department into the future. The plan included the following objective as it relates to competition: "Win the OVC Commissioner's Cup within the next five years and compete annually thereafter." SEMO was on track to meet its goal of winning the OVC Commissioner's Cup in 2019-2020, the prestigious symbol of overall athletic excellence in Conference-sponsored championships that is awarded annually to one member institution.
