Southeast Missouri scheduled a future football home-and-home series with Southland Conference member Sam Houston State for the 2021 and 2025 seasons. Southeast and Sam Houston will meet on Sept. 11, 2021, in Huntsville, Texas. Sam Houston will return the trip to Cape Girardeau on Sept. 13, 2025.
